Directions

The Berkeley City Club (510-848-7800) is located at 2315 Durant Avenue, between Ellsworth and Dana, near downtown Berkeley. Please note that Durant is an east-bound, one-way street; the Club is on the left (north) side of the street.

Public Transit Options

Parking anywhere near the UC Berkeley campus is very limited. Please take public transportation if at all possible. The Downtown Berkeley BART station is located at the intersection of Shattuck and Center Streets, as noted on the map above. The Berkeley City Club is approximately six blocks from BART.

The "R" line of the UC Berkeley "Bear Shuttle Bus" leaves the SE corner of Shattuck and Addision Streets every 24 minutes (e.g., 7:30, 7:54, 8:18) and arrives at the corner of Durant and Ellsworth 5 minutes later. The fare is $0.50.

Nearly a dozen ACTransit buses serve this area. Please use the "Trip Planner" option at the ACTransit website to see if one will work for you.

Public Parking

Please do not park in University Parking Facilities (except where noted for public parking)! All spaces are reserved. Campus parking options are detailed at the University's Parking & Transportation website.

There are a number of public parking lots and facilities near campus and in downtown Berkeley. This list includes municipal and privately owned parking lots and garages open to the public. Please consult signs for hours and fees prior to entering the facilities.

  • Berkeley Way near Shattuck
  • Center Street near Shattuck (2025 Center Street)
  • Allston Way near Shattuck (2061 Allston Way)
  • Durant Avenue near Telegraph (2450 Durant Avenue)
  • Bancroft Way near Bowditch (2558 Bancroft Way)
